I’ve been painting for 20+ years, although I have been an award winning artist since childhood. I attended the Kansas City Art Institute as an undergraduate in addition to their adult continuing education programs.

What sets me apart from other painters is I have an extensive, applied background in both fine art and residential painting. I perform all repair and preparation as well as helping to conceptualize and execute the final finish, whether it be decorative or simply restorative in nature. I’m also able to restore the decorative finishes of other artists in the case where a surface has incurred damage.

The relationship between colors is a primary interest of mine. Color influences perception of temperature, sets a mood and can influence perception of dimension and cleanliness in addition to communicating style. I enjoy working with the client to determine how to bring their vision into reality in a way that best suits both personal taste and budget.
